  • dimensions: diameter ø4cm  ø5cm,  ø6cm,  ø8cm,  ø10cm,  ø12cm,  ø14cm,  ø16cm, and lengths from 30 cm to 400 cm
  • vacuum-pressure or immersion impregnation

Decorticated palisade
Decorticated palisade differs from rounded palisade. They are not smooth, they are porous on the surface.

  • They have better endurance than rolled stakes because the surface structure of wood is preserved directly below the cortex
  • The decortication can be processed entirely or the cortex is left partially on the stake leaving cortex’s ring on the whole length of stak
